Fuse Box
A downloadable game for Windows
Heads up: this is a small, quick experiment — not a full production. It started as a "let's see if this idea even works" test. It ended up more fun than expected, so here it is. Don't expect a huge game, just a tight little dose of tension.
Fuse Box is a tense, one-on-one duel of nerves played across a battered electrical panel. You and the Engineer take turns pulling switches on a live fuse box — some are safe, some aren't, and neither of you knows which is which until it's too late.
How it plays
Every switch you pull can go to you or to him. Pull safe on yourself and you go again. Anything else, and the turn passes.
- Read the panel. You know how many switches are live, just not which ones.
- Use what you're given. Gloves, a multimeter, cutters, an energy drink — delivered one at a time from a supply box on the table, never all at once.
- Survive three rounds. Each one adds more live switches to the panel — and a sharper Engineer who makes fewer mistakes.
How far do you get before the panel gets you first?
